Amber Wang is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker whose work is rooted in visual journalism.

She works across video, audio and digital platforms, producing journalism that combines strong reporting with visual storytelling. She shoots, edits, produces and writes across platforms, bringing a visual and editorial perspective to every stage of production.

Previously based in Hong Kong, Amber worked as a video journalist and producer for BBC News. Earlier in her career, she held roles at CNN Photo Desk. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Publishers in Asia Awards for Excellence in Video Reporting, the Human Rights Press Awards and the International Photography Awards. She was also nominated for World Press Photo’s Joop Swart Masterclass.
